Online political campaign, a digital marketing project

In preparation for the 2022 State Election in Santa Catarina, Brazil, I had the responsibility of leading a dynamic marketing team to drive the political campaign for Alex Fabiano Wehrle, a candidate running for a state seat under the PL party. The election day was set for October 2, 2022, and our team began planning as early as May 2021 to ensure a well-executed campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Execution: Developed and launched comprehensive political campaigns with a strong emphasis on social media content planning, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence. Managed personal branding initiatives to establish and maintain a strong public image for the candidate across various digital platforms.

Advertising Campaigns: Strategically planned and executed advertising campaigns tailored to reach the target electorate, utilizing both organic and paid strategies to maximize voter engagement. Monitored ad performance closely, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize reach and effectiveness.

Workflow & Project Management: Applied the Kanban methodology to manage and streamline the team's workflow, using Trello to organize tasks and ensure efficient progress tracking. Facilitated clear communication and task management within the team, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Stakeholder Engagement: Built and maintained strong relationships with key stakeholders, including party representatives, supporters, and digital influencers, to bolster the campaign’s reach and impact.

Outcome

By Election Day, our team had successfully executed a cohesive and well-organized online campaign that effectively communicated the candidate’s message, engaged voters, and positioned Alex Fabiano Wehrle as a strong contender for a state seat in Santa Catarina.
